We hired SDS events for month of planning and they were worth every penny. Shawon and her team helped ease my nerves leading up to the wedding and made sure everything went smooth on the day of. If there were any issues I wouldn’t know because they were so helpful in making sure I was stress free on the day of. Even with COVID, Shawon and her team were really proactive in making sure we were able to adjust to make our wedding day not only memorable but safe. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my wedding and it’s all thanks to SDS events. I would recommend them for anyone who is in search for a wedding planner.

Prior to hiring SDS Events we had another "wedding planner" who unfortunately took advantage of our finances & trust. We ultimately fired her & began out search for an honest, reputable, affordable and professional planner. Needless to say my husband and I were skeptical of other vendors who would promise that they could implement our vision but lacked the connections, resources, vision and capacity to do so. My matron of honor connected us with Shawon and after calling several references and vetting other prospects... SDS Events was the clear choice and the BEST decision we could have made. Shawon was able to handle the task of connecting with our previously secured vendors and tying up all loose ends by finding our remaining vendors for a great price. Our wedding was a production...we had many, many moving parts (23 members of a wedding party, approx. 200 guests, and numerous vendors, including our ceremony band, several singers and a poet)... Shawon was respectful, yet commanding. On our wedding day she and her team were efficient and handled it all with poise, grace and diligence. Take it from us... Shawon saved the day and made it ALL look SEAMLESS... just like we wanted.
